Volunteer With AFP-NNE

Opportunities to get involved with The Association of Fundraising Professionals - Northern New England Chapter are as plentiful as the reasons for doing so! Give back to your profession. Develop new skills. Advance your knowledge. Find out more here.

I joined AFP-NNE when I started working for an organization that had an AFP Membership. I started attending events, a NetLunch, and several regional meet-ups. I was one of the first mentees in the new mentorship program, and that experience was just incredible. I feel that in just two years as a part of AFP-NNE, my career and understanding of the field has grown exponentially. I have found incredible resources and met wonderful new friends who all understand that the work we do is not easy. At this point, I can't imagine being in this field and NOT being a member of AFP-NNE.

~ Angi Francesco, Director of Development, Squam Lakes Association

An AFP-NNE membership is such a valuable asset for a young professional. As the winner of the 2019 Chamberlain Scholarship, I had the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the most respected professionals in our field. Fundraising is a unique career path with unique problems to solve. This community understands those unique problems and are always willing to lend an ear and their expertise to help solve them!

~ Brittany Porter, Development Associate, NAMI New Hampshire

My mentor, Valerie Todd, is lovely and I think the program is a really wonderful offering from AFP-NNE. I wasn't quite sure what to expect but Valerie was a mentor in the AFP program in San Francisco so she's helped to move things along. I was impressed you were able to pair me with someone who had such a similar background which is helpful since her experience mirrors RAIN's reality more closely than most which helps us to tailor her insight to be applicable in our work.

~ Katherine Kolios, Executive Director, Rain for the Sahel and Sahara
