The Mentorship Program provides opportunities for new development professionals (new to the industry or to the position) to strengthen their fundraising skills with one-on-one guidance and support from more experienced development professionals.
To be a Mentor, you must be an AFP member. You do NOT have to be an AFP member to be a Mentee.
If you are interested, please click the link below to complete the application. After the application due date, pairs will be matched through their common interests and experience by the Mentorship Committee. Pairs will be notified mid-May, and will have an introductory meeting first. After that, pairs establish their own schedule and agree to meet at least once per month (either in person or online). All questions and concerns can be directed either to the AFP-NNE admin or committee chair.
This volunteer-driven program is sponsored by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Northern New England Chapter. We’re pleased to offer this opportunity and appreciate your interest in participating.
👉Applications are open through May 15, 2026.
